Celebrating Leadership Awards presented at June Graduation Dinner

Leadership Tomorrow Graduation to honor
outstanding leaders

On June 6, 2012 at the Back Bay Bistro at the Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort, all Leadership Tomorrow Alumni and friends of the program are welcome to join us at our Class of 2012 Leadership Tomorrow Graduation Dinner event. In addition to Graduation, the event will feature our Celebrating Leadership awards. We invite everyone, whether graduates of Leadershp Tomorrow, members of the community or local businesses, to nominate a candidate to receive on of two very special awards.

The Outstanding Community Leadership Award

The Excellence in Community Leadership, which is open to nominations from the general public,  is presented to a person/persons who best represent Leadership in our community, regardless of affiliation or position.  This nomination may come from members of the general public, as well as the LT Board, Alumni, or outside organizations such as Chambers of Commerce or City Councils.  A nomination document listing the characteristics, accomplishments, and/or actions that should be considered by the Board should be prepared.  The nomination document should be accompanied by a brief personal biographical data history. 

The Excellence in Leadership Award

The Excellence in Leadership is presented to a person/persons who have been affiliated with Leadership Tomorrow and best represent the characteristics of leadership for the past year. The nominations for this award are solicited from the Board and Alumni during the course of the year.  Supporting documents should be prepared listing the characteristics, accomplishments, and/or actions that should be considered by the Board.  A brief personal biographical data sheet for the individual should accompany the nomination letter/document.  The selection is made based on all criteria identified in the nomination documentation.

Candidates will be evaluated at a regular Leadership Tomorrow Board meeting with the honorees being recognized at the Graduation Dinner event. The event will also feature a keynote speaker. The general public is invited to attend as well. Reservation information will be available soon.

If you would like to nominate someone for either award, please submit nomination information (the person's name, characteristics, accomplishments, and/or actions why they are deserving of the award) using the form above as well as your contact information and the nominee's.
